Siderurgia

2015. Variable size. Found objects, reading lamps and wood.

Siderurgia is a project based on the practice of walking and on the relationship between the individual and the universe itself. Walking is an action that pits you against a reality that is approaching. In the process of walking in everyday life we disengage from the present moment; we hardly perceive it because we focus on other matters. This project refers to that degree of unconsciousness, the melancholy condition caused by being elsewhere.

This installation is created from some of the solid waste that I find on the way to which I refer: glass, rubble , paving stones , pieces of asphalt , copper, iron and steel. Solid and persistent objects that are out of everyday time, in another tune. On the table, waste residues cause a constellation of movement susceptible to be studied , analysed and observed
